MUSIC PRODUCTION AGREEMENT

This Music Production Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between:

● Producer: Blake Dahlmeyer

● Artist: The individual or entity completing checkout and purchasing services through Producer’s booking platform (“Artist”)

Effective as of the date of purchase (“Effective Date”).

1. SCOPE OF WORK

The Producer agrees to provide music production services under the package selected and paid for by the Artist at checkout. Only the terms listed under the chosen package apply to this Agreement.

Available Packages:

(A) MIX & MASTER PACKAGE

  • Professional mixing and mastering of one (1) fully recorded song, using audio tracks provided by the Artist.

  • Includes standard balance, EQ, compression, effects, and tonal shaping for a professional release-ready sound.

  • Light editing (noise cleanup, fades, minor timing fixes) is included.

  • Does not include full vocal tuning, comping, or re-recording.

  • File delivery: WAV, MP3, stems, instrumental version, performance track (lead vocal muted)

  • Revisions: See Section 4(A).

(B) UNPLUGGED PACKAGE

  • 1 vocal plus 1 accompanying instrument

  • Vocal editing (pitch correction, timing, comping)

  • Mixing & mastering (streaming-ready)

  • One-on-one pre-production consultation

  • Weekly rough mix updates

  • File delivery: WAV, MP3, stems, instrumental version, performance track (lead vocal muted)

  • Revisions: See Section 4(B)

(C) ESSENTIAL PRODUCTION PACKAGE

  • Custom instrumentation & arrangement (guitar, bass, keys, drums, synths, etc.)

  • Vocal editing (pitch correction, timing, comping)

  • Instrument editing (tightening, polishing)

  • Mixing & mastering (streaming-ready)

  • One-on-one pre-production consultation

  • Weekly rough mix updates

  • Vocal Recording: Up to 2 hours included (extra time billed separately)

  • File delivery: WAV, MP3, stems, instrumental version, performance track (lead vocal muted)

  • Revisions: See Section 4(C)

(D) FULL PRODUCTION PACKAGE

  • Full instrumentation & arrangement (guitar, bass, keys, synths, programmed drums; live drums on request)

  • Vocal editing (pitch correction, timing, comping)

  • Instrument editing (tightening, polishing)

  • Mixing & mastering (streaming-ready)

  • One-on-one pre-production consultation

  • Weekly rough mix updates

  • Vocal Recording: Up to 2 hours included (extra time billed separately)

  • File delivery: WAV, MP3, stems, instrumental version, performance track (lead vocal muted)

  • Revisions: See Section 4(D)

(E) ARTIST LAUNCH PACKAGE

  • Includes everything in the Full Production Package

  • Plus: Custom-written original song, lyric video, song artwork, and marketing content package (10 short-form social media assets), website, merch site, merch design (5 products)

  • Revisions: See Section 4(E)

2. ARTIST RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Artist agrees to provide:

  • Full payment (in full or via installment plan) at checkout

  • Finalized lyrics (unless songwriting is included)

  • Any song references

  • A demo of the song idea (preferably recorded to a metronome) and any arrangement notes

  • Properly recorded vocals:

    • Sung to metronome/guide track

    • Headphones used to avoid bleed

    • Quiet environment

    • Files in WAV or high-quality MP3

  • For Mix & Master package, Artist is responsible for providing properly exported multitrack stems in WAV format, with all files starting at the same point in the session. Stems must be provided at 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz, 24-bit.

3. TIMELINE

  • Production begins upon receipt of required materials and payment.

  • General turnaround is 4–5 weeks per song, depending on communication and feedback.

4. REVISIONS POLICY

  • Definition: A “revision round” is one consolidated list of change requests submitted at one time. Fragmented requests across multiple messages or days will count as separate rounds.

  • Major Changes: Full rewrites, new vocal recordings, or structural overhauls may require a new agreement or additional fee.

  • Extra Revisions: Additional rounds beyond those included in the package are billed at $75 per round.

  • Final Delivery: Once final files are approved and delivered, any further changes require a new project agreement.

(A) MIX & MASTER – Mixing: 3 rounds; Mastering: 2 tweaks

(B) UNPLUGGED – Production: 3 minor revisions; Mixing: 3 rounds; Mastering: 3 tweaks

(C) ESSENTIAL – Production: 3 rounds; Mixing: 3 rounds; Mastering: 2 tweaks

(D) FULL PRODUCTION – Production: 3 rounds; Mixing: 3 rounds; Mastering: 2 tweaks

(E) ARTIST LAUNCH – Production: 4 rounds; Mixing: 4 rounds; Mastering: 3 tweaks

5. PAYMENT TERMS

  • Payment is made at checkout (full or installments via Shop Pay / Affirm / PayPal Credit).

  • Work begins once initial payment is received.

  • Installments must remain current for revisions/deliverables to continue.

6. GUARANTEE OF QUALITY & SATISFACTION

  • The Producer commits to professional, high-quality deliverables aligned with the Artist’s vision.

  • Revisions must be requested within 3 business days of receiving each deliverable.

7. COPYRIGHT & OWNERSHIP

  • Upon full payment, the Artist owns 100% of the master recording(s).

  • For Artist Launch custom compositions, songwriting rights transfer to Artist upon full payment.

  • Producer retains the right to showcase work in portfolio/promotional use unless Artist opts out in writing.

8. CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Artist cancels before work begins: 50% of downpayment refundable.

  • Artist cancels after work begins: payments non-refundable.

  • Producer cancels: all payments refunded in full.

9. COMMUNICATION & FEEDBACK

  • Each package includes one (1) pre-production consultation call and necessary calls for included revisions.

  • Extra Calls: Additional calls, direction, or coaching beyond the included scope are billed at $100/hr, prorated to 30-minute increments.

  • Channels: All project communication must be submitted via email or the agreed project portal. Texts/DMs are not accepted for feedback.

  • Response Time: Producer will respond within 48 business hours. Rush requests may incur additional charges.

  • Consolidation: Artist feedback must be submitted in consolidated form within 3 business days of each deliverable.

10. CONFIDENTIALITY

All materials, communications, and terms remain confidential unless mutually agreed otherwise.

11. LIABILITY

Producer is not liable for unforeseen technical issues (e.g., data corruption, hardware failure) but will take all reasonable measures to resolve.

12. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in Broward County, Florida, unless mutually agreed otherwise.

13. ACCEPTANCE (Clickwrap Binding)

By completing checkout and affirmatively checking the required box (“I agree to the Music Production Agreement”), the Artist acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Agreement.

The act of purchasing services and checking the box constitutes the Artist’s electronic signature under the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA)
